Check out what God is doing at Braden River HS through FCA... At the beginning of this school year, 22 students met in Mr. Nelson's classroom for FCA. Praying for God to move on their campus and to use them as leaders amongst their peers, the club began to grow. Soon, with standing room only, they outgrew their classroom and had to look for more space for their meetings. The schools AD Mr. Nesser, graciously allowed for the club to meet in the gymnasium... their first meeting in the gym held record attendance at 130 students! Today, the student leaders felt the need to present the Gospel message and invite those to enter into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ... THIRTY SIX students answered the call and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! I am so proud of our student leaders, faculty and volunteers that have poured into @braden.river.fca and brought the good news of Christ to their campus. The Lord wants us to share His love and Word locally, regionally and across the world when we receive the power of the Holy Spirit. It's so important that when we do the work of the Lord it's expressed through his strength not our own strength. This is the season of thanksgiving however we should always remember to give thanks to God in all our circumstances.

A strong foundation is always important especially in athletics. If you neglect your core your foundation will be weak and it will show in your performance. "If your foundation is weak the entire athlete is weak." That's not something you want to hear your coach or trainer say to you and it's certainly not something you'd want God to say of you either. Building a strong foundation in the Lord is through studying His word. Knowing his word is knowing his heart. Interested in a free study on your own or with friends? The word “consecrate” is interesting. It means “to set apart; designate or dedicate for a special purpose.” Consecration is a complete surrender to the lordship of Jesus Christ. Put it all together, and that verse is saying to surrender our lives and dedicate all we have to the Lord, for a day will come when He’ll do far beyond what we believe is possible. It’s in Christ, in living and competing for Him, that our true identity and fulfillment can be found. Live by this belief: We can all be Christ’s ambassadors for His Kingdom, consecrated to fulfill His special purposes here on Earth. – Shane Williamson
