Manatee Home Run Derby is a one-day fundraising event on [Date] where Manatee County High School Baseball Teams will compete in a Home Run Derby competition at [Location]. Their goal is to score as many runs as possible out of 30 pitches. Through each players' network, solicited donors make a financial pledge per RBI to help raise funds to benefit the specific High School baseball team, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

On average, participants score 18 RBI's in 30 attempts. Results may vary.

Where: LECOM Park
Format: Each participant will compete in round one of the three-point contest. They will have 27 Pitches to hit as many HR's or RBI's as possible. The 9th, 18th and 27th pitch will be a Moneyball counted as two HR's or a Double. At the end of the twenty-seven pitches, score will be calculated adding up all HR's and RBI's.
Competiton:
Round One: All 108 participants
Round Two: Top 60 scorers from round one
Round Three: Top 18 scorers from round two
Round Four: Top 6 scorers from round three
Round Five: Top two scorers from round four
*Ties will be broken by number of Home Runs hit. (Ex: two batters scored 13 RBI's. Home Runs were 6 vs 8. The batter who hit the 8 HR's will advance.)
